Hopes to raise £3,000 for Ugandan school

Students from Blackburn school in journey of hope for Ugandans

The students and two members of staff from Blackburn’s Queen Elizabeth’s Grammar School Sixth Form are flying out to Kampala, the capital of Uganda, for two and a half weeks on June 29. While they are there the students will be helping to paint, decorate and mend desks at The Good Samaritan School as well…

The Good Samaritan Primary School was set up to provide shelter and education for the many orphaned children in the Wakiso district of Uganda, about 25 miles outside Kampala. There are now about 300 children at the school
